Why This Listing Exists
Leonard Lake was an American serial killer who, along with accomplice Charles Ng, raped, tortured, and murdered an estimated 11 to 25 victims at a remote cabin in Wilseyville, California, in the mid-1980s.
The pair filmed themselves torturing their victims, tapes that were later found by police and used to convict Ng. Lake was arrested in 1985 for shoplifting but committed suicide by swallowing a cyanide pill he had sewn into his clothes.
His death prevented him from standing trial, but the evidence found at his property revealed the full extent of his depravity. He has no marked grave.
